|

Hello,
I'm a new member to the DACC and need some help finding
resources.
I'm building a '56 150 2 dr. It is a pretty original and rust-free car and
I want to focus on getting it running and driving so I can have some fun with it before tearing it down for a total cosmetic restoration.
The engine and trans are out and I'm about to change the rear end, so I need to have the chassis cleaned. It came out of the desert and has a good bit of dirt and grease underneath.
Does anybody know of of a place that will really pressure wash the underside very well? It needs a good cleaning.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
I'm in the Collin County area.
Thanks,
GS |

I don't know of any place that does steam cleaning anymore. I think the EPA forced them all out of business. You can rent power washers that do a pretty good job. |

Thanks for the advice.
I was wondering why I couldn't find a place to get my car steam cleaned.
Renting a pressure washer is a great idea, only problem is that I don't have a place to blast it clean.
When I got the car it dripped a bit of fluid going up the driveway and my wife was afraid the homeowners association was going to have a fit.
Wait till they hear it with the open headers! |
