DACC Members,
I need your advice.
What are the average estimated costs to convert a 1955 Chevy Belair 265 V8 to Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes?
I am looking at a 1955 Chevy Belair that has no power steering and has the standard brakes. I want to see what it will cost me to add PS & PB before I buy it and so that my wife can drive it too!
I appreciate any advice.
Also, what mechanic or company in the DFW area would provide an affordable quality job for me?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I would guess $1,500 to $2,000 if you did it yourself. At least double that amonut if you take it in. I'm just guessing because I never keep track of what I spend.
You might do what I do. Go widow shopping at http://www.danchuk.com/ one of my favorite hobbies. _________________ Texas Classic Chevy Experience
