This Sunday is an event the TriFive drag race supporters can have fun attending. The MotorPlex is a track for really learning about your car's power you can remember and talk about. Forget the chasis dyno numbers that cost high dollars to get. The 1/4 mile elapsed time and recorded top speed are the real truth about any car's power. Don't want to run/race.......just show up and see the action. We will be looking for you. _________________ "A Classic Car is Not Aerodynamic" |

I will be a no show, have a 'radio commitment' to do that morning ..
I was at Texas Raceway in Kennedale Wed night with my son as he finished up licensing passes for his NHRA Super Comp license (which he did with a best run of 5.51 on the 1/8 mile) and saw James Carson with his '57 and he was working out some bugs for Sunday's event and should be there, also spoke with Dennis Gormley and he should have his '55 on the property on Sunday .. best of luck to all and get us some points!!
My son making his last runs for his license ..
James Carson making some testing and tuning passes for Sunday .. |

my son Chris co-hosts a radio program each Sunday morning (instead of going to church!) that is about drag racing, he will be in Milan Michigan this weekend crewing for the Dale Creasy nitro funny car at the IHRA national event, SO he threw my name up as a guest host to sit in for him, so I will try to speak clearly and talk drag racing on 105.3 FM from 8-10AM this Sunday, we have a pretty good show lined up so tune in if you can at the track or online from anywhere you can get online! website for show is http://www.RacingSportsLive.com |

Hope I have this correct. We had 4 cars run with the following results. Tom lost first round Kenneth lost in the second round Dennis lost in the second round but he also ran 9.89 at 139 miles per hour in the quarter mile very nice. The fourth car owned by James Carson went out in the third round.
We all had a great time.
