Like Son, Like Father.....
Now that I have the 55, Dad is now craving Detroit Steel in lieu of fiberglass (he's restored seventy-eight (7 ) for the first time in over 30 years...
Dad campaigned a 1956 2 Door Post in the late 50s/early 60 equipped with bored 283, Duntov 30-30 cam, and 2.02 Heads - and now he wants to relive the glory days in a Heavy Chevy. So I'm trying to help dear old Dad find a project that he can spend some time putting back together and would like to enlist those in DACC to help me out and get him back in a fabulous Tri Five. He would prefer something along the lines of a rolling frame so that he can perform engine, transmission, rear, and suspension modifications to his specifications. In addition, prefer something from this area of the United States or the Southwest... So if you hear about a 1956 sedan or post that would enable Dad to experience one more time "his glory days" please let me know. Thanks in advance, Geoff |

Thanks guys. The 56 post on Racingjunk.com has potential. We will be at the Last Run in Ark City KS this weekend and will do some looking. |
