from various sources, it appears the DACC had a very good showing at the Denton Spring TMCCC drags, reported as running were James Carson '57 Chevy, Tom McGee '55 Chevy (running with his baby seat in the back, but no baby!), Kenneth Burton '56 Chevy, William Walker '55 Chevy and supporting as a cheering section was Tom and brother Mark Walker (we have plenty of racing Walker's in the club!), all of our racers went out in R1 but in the Consolation Eliminator for R1 losers (it's called the 'Race of Champions' for some reason!?) we had Carson and Walker sign up and we almost had an all Tri Five Chevy final as Walker made it to the final and Carson came up one round short when he was beat in the semi final, Walker in the final with his '55 had dialed a 6.35 and fell off just a tad and ran a 6.38 which was just enough to let a pesky Camaro beat him, overall a nice turnout and good results with one Tri Five in a final round!
