How about everyone chime in that made some or all the the Tour. Give us your impressions and comments. No comments? Just tell us you participated. Or tell us who you know participated. Some can't make these events and are wishful to read some stories from the road's trenches and potholes! _________________ "A Classic Car is Not Aerodynamic" |

Dianne and I made the entire POWER TOUR from Dallas to Detroit, actually it was Milford, with a stop on the way up in Indianapolis and a revisit to the Speedway. Lots of cars and a whole lot of driving and the further north you go the higher the gas prices. We were fortunate to enjoy cool weather until we got back to Oklahoma. The word was out that the tour was coming through each town and there were a lot of locals out looking at the cars as we drove through their towns and in one of the towns the Day Care had the kids out for the tour. Several of the locals in each town had their Hot Rods on display showing their support.
**In Milford we were one of the few groups that have ever driven on the Chevrolet proving grounds test track. We were not allowed on the 3 miles straight-away where the ZR-1 Corvette ran 204 plus MPH!!
A lot of little details if you would like to hear more.
P.S.
It ended in Grand Prairie not Arlington
