Anybody going to Dallas Raceway, Crandall, this Sunday the 21st? It's the 3rd race of the season to collect 2013 points for the club. For those who have never visited or run this facility, it's 1st class. _________________ "A Classic Car is Not Aerodynamic" |

I'm planning on going. I replaced the fuel pump and did some tuning on the carbs. I hope the car will regain some consistency. Save me a spot in the pits in case I have trouble getting the kids up that early to be there at 8!
Looking forward to it! |

I will try and get the results listed correctly Tom went out 1st round James went out 2cd round Jim went out 1st round transmission went out John Rogers went out third round with his new Nova and I went out also 3rd round. So for a small club we did very well over all. All thanks to all the wifes that were there and also club member Billy and his wife. Soory I don't know there last name. Anyone is more than welcome to make any additions or corrections.

Thanks for the update, Kenneth.
Sorry that I didn't stay to root for the team, but I wanted to get my car home and start on that transmission.
I've just called it quits for the night. At least I was able to get it out of the car tonight. I'll try to see if someone will work on it this week.
Thanks again for the update, |

seems everyone enjoyed the race at Crandall, from the way the event was run, to the fine facility, second only to the Motorplex .. BUT ..
seems the track is closed again, the financial difficulties continue ..

let's hope we don't lose this nice playground ... ! _________________ In My Garage -

PassedCrandall today and it looked very vacant for a Sunday afternoon. It does look like a very nice facility. |
