She got the chance to fill in for John Hale on his nostalgia Funny Car for some testing that was needed before that team leaves for an event in Florida, with John in Phoenix driving Jim Dunn's big show car at the NHRA event, (what a deal, to many cars to drive!) Tera was called in to fill the seat while they did some needed testing at North Star Dragway yesterday in Denton. The crew did a great job and Tera handled the job like a pro, wheeling the Camaro bodied nitro burner to her career best in the 1/8 mile of 3.78 seconds at 206 MPH! She was a happy camper when she heard the number as you can see below. This is the car she licensed in a little over a year ago. Outstanding effort for Mrs. Graves! Be sure to check out the on board video at the bottom. 206 MPH happens real quick in 3.78 seconds!.. or does 3.78 seconds happen real quick at 206 MPH ... ?? either way it's motivating on down the road!
