I am moving my radiator back to its original 6-cylinder position. I am putting on new pullies for an anticipated AC unit. I need more room for the new flex fan and extra pully. I would like to use Stainless radiator hoses. My Auto Zone does not have any and at O'Reillys they want $80. I need a cheaper version sold in the Lewisville/Plano area.
Any suggestions?

Bend stainless pipe of the correct diameter to same cofiguration as the old rubber one then polish it. Attach rubber hose 4-5" at each end with stainless band clamps for flex. Then billet hose end clamps at radiator and engine. That's the way I do it. Carry pre-cut rubber hose sections for the road and you'll never have to worry about finding the correct hose in Backwater, U.S.A. . Ed |
