Okay I give up.....
My rocker molding keeps coming loose at the front fastener near the front fender well.
What are some methods to retain the hardtop rocker molding? The new replacement rocker molding from a few years back keeps coming loose at the most front clip near the front fenders. What are the tricks to keep it fastened? I don't want to drill holes in it like were there when I first acquired the car. _________________ "A Classic Car is Not Aerodynamic" |

Well, the right side rocker moulding finally separated from the car during a drag race at the MotorPlex on 25Mar07. The track folk retreived it albeit scratched and dented. Looks like I'll be designing a fix as the catalogs don't offer a solution. _________________ "A Classic Car is Not Aerodynamic" |

Tom
I think 'someone' has already thought about & making the flywheel flex plate that we were talking about in Ennis. Look at J W Peformance Transmissions, makers of the Ultra bell housing, & click on or go to www.racewithjw.com. Mad Dog Transmissions will not honor their warranty on my transmission breakage so this may be my cheapest & quickest way to go.
I'll post pictures just as soon as I figure out how!
